In simple terms, Sonic Branding is the strategic use of audio to create a unique brand identity and evoke passion, excitement, and loyalty among a brand’s target audience. It involves applying the same precision used for verbal and visual brand elements to the realm of sound.

Music and sound have a unique ability to influence emotion. Sound elicits a hyper-fast human reaction—30 milliseconds faster than visual reaction times. So even before you may be aware of a sound or how it makes you feel, you have an instinctive emotional response.

More than a catchy logo

A Sonic Logo or 'Mnemonic' serves as a crucial element in the Sonic DNA of a brand. Just think of HBO’s TV static, McDonald’s “Ba da bup ba bah” or Netflix’s “DuDum”.
