100 Years of The Bruins.
The goal of this spot was a simple one: to write a love letter to and for the entire Boston Bruins community of players, fans and organization. Our hope was to celebrate the breadth of the Bruins one hundred-year-old history, what the team means to Boston, and how the storied past is connected to the hopeful future. The music was inspired by the rhythm of the stitchers work and the beautiful and brutal sport of Hockey. Performed by members of the Landmark Orchestra in Boston.
In the sequel, "Begin Again," we took the rhythmic and intervalic motif of the cello and switched to a major harmony to capture the hopeful, forward-looking nature of the piece.
