Modslee is the artist / producer name for Emmy Award-winning composer Chris Plante. With a repertoire that has earned him numerous accolades, including two Clio Awards, four Shorty Awards, two Webby Awards, and six Hatch Awards, his work has been recognized across various media platforms. He has partnered with prominent brands and organizations, including IBM, the NFL, and Amazon, and is an officially endorsed Yamaha Contemporary Pianist.
From the age of five, Modslee received classical training, achieving the National and International Piano Guild award from 1990 to 1999. He has been mentored by legendary jazz drummer Les Harris Sr., co-founder of Berklee College of Music. A Berklee Film Scoring major from 2003 to 2006, Modslee co-founded and served as the writer and singer for The Brew, touring internationally with iconic artists such as The Allman Brothers and The Black Keys. His singles “When Darkness Comes” and “Into the Remembering Sun” both reached the AAA Radio Chart top 100 in 2013. Additionally, his release "Don't Wanna Know" has garnered over 1.7 million plays and has been featured on Spotify editorials, showcasing his growing influence in the music industry.
